Over the past number of weeks DeiseHost has been reported to have an uptime of less than 99.5% according to the monitoring system, Hyperspin.
Today we realised that the monitoring provided by Hyperspin was inaccurate and therefore we have removed the monitor and any affiliation with Hyperspin Monitoring due to inaccurate monitoring.
Basically, in a nut shell, Hyperspin would take a reboot as downtime. It would record and email us after a reboot saying that the server was down. Regardless of a reboot taking just a couple of seconds, Hyperspin would not record the uptime again for 1 hour, hense, it would record the downtime as 1 hour.
